Salt and Sage produced The Winter’s Tale in repertory with Much Ado About Nothing between Thanksgiving and the Winter Solstice in 2025. The Winter’s Tale focused on jealousy, patriarchy, trauma, magic, repair, and forgiveness. Broadway World praised the production’s navigation of the notoriously tricky character turns and plot twists: “Director Asae Dean and Salt and Sage Theatre Company have discovered the secret: let great actors do the work.” This version of The Winter’s Tale added an epilogue for Perdita and focused on the trauma of loss.
