Salt and Sage produced Macbeth in the summer of 2023. The play was intended to pair with Titus Andronicus. Two weeks prior to opening, cast member, Alexander Buckner passed away. He had been playing Banquo in Macbeth and Aaron in Titus. He is dearly missed, may his memory be a blessing and may he rest in power.

Willamette Week raved about Macbeth saying “the entire cast is sublime” and “this production, like a gritty Halloween party, lets us all briefly dance with the devil without fear of consequences.”
